Filip Farkas: A flower placed in the mountains represents the beauty of my landscape, but it can only be seen if you look carefully. The mountains around represent the wilderness and adventure that my country can offer. I am proud to be from Slovakia.

Garrett Lesh: This light house (nicknamed "Big Red") is located in Holland, Michigan. Right at the mouth of Lake Macatawa, leading to Lake Michigan. Some of my best days ever have began and ended passing Big Red on our boat. Every time, I see it, I am reminded how grateful I am to call Holland home.

Jay Greenwell: Peaceful when running the tractor in the field. Wonderful site to come over the hill to see a sunset. My family spends as much time as possible together out here.

Jonathan Stiffy: To me, home is wherever my family is. We love living in the Pittsburgh area, and I took this photo while we were on one of our weekend adventures in the city. So, this photo captures both the people and the place that are ever present when I think of home.

Jonathon Knedgen: This photo was taken of the Red Cedar river on Michigan State University's campus. I lived and studied there for four years and also met my spouse there. We live nearby so I still have a strong connection to the school and the campus will always be an area I feel at home. The beautiful fall foliage also remind me of a brisk - uniquely Michigan - autumn day.

Katarina Foltanova: It's a photo of my garden. We spend time here relaxing or actively working on transforming this space to be closer to our vision. I like to plant flowers and my husband loves to build stuff from wood. My daughter spends time here helping us or plays with her friends and our dog Bonifac.

Kerry Huang: My home is - China. China is an ancient country, which has a history of five thousand years. The Great Wall of China, a symbol of China's rich history and cultural heritage, stretches over 13,000 miles and is one of the most impressive architectural feats in the world. Among its many sections, the Jiayuguan Pass is particularly notable.Jiayuguan, located in Gansu Province in northwest China, is the westernmost point of the Ming Dynasty's Great Wall. It was established in 1372 during the Ming Dynasty and is often referred to as the "First and Greatest Pass under Heaven." The name "Jiayuguan" translates to "Fortress of the Best and Most Exquisite Valley," highlighting its strategic importance as a gateway to the Silk Road. Jiayuguan is a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a chance to explore its historical significance and admire the grandeur of the Great Wall. It is a testament to the ingenuity and perseverance of the Chinese people and stands as a reminder of China's enduring legacy.

Lyle Turner: This is Ricks White Light Dinner, it was a staple in downtown Frankfort and was Frankfort’s oldest restaurant. In 2003 it was featured in Guy Fiery’s “Diners, Drive ins, and Dives”, and had some of the best burgers in Frankfort. In 2022, after nearly 100 years, they closed due to the owner finally having cooked enough. This epitomizes home for me because despite Frankfort being the capitol of KY, it’s still a small town full of smaller communities this restaurant was the gathering place for anyone from any community to stop by for some good food and better company.

Melissa Strohmeyer: I have two miniature Schnauzers and a Norwegian Elkhound that are very lively. They are my send off and welcome home party every day.

Mike Topping: Not so much home as where I live but exploring National Parks is my passion.

Nicholas Niesen: I was born and raised in Manistee, MI. Manistee is just a small town in Northern Michigan but it will always be home to my wife and I. Audia has given me opportunities to travel the world and I am extremely grateful for that. But I am always impressed by the beauty of home. To me this picture represents family, a blessed upbringing, lifelong friends, a community of neighbors, and memories of meeting my wife for the first time.

Nicholas Reinink: This is our family property. My son will be the 5th generation to utilize this property. Right now his little mind is forever exploring and learning all about nature's beauty. He keeps me grounded and reminds me to take a step back and soak it all in.

Nicole Hagan: This is my country life and what I love to do. I call this photo "Between the ears of a Pearl". Pearl is my mule's name. My husband and I have a 50 acre farm. We have mules, horses, and cows. We love to trail ride.

Petra Tomašovičová: When I think of home, it's not just a place, it's a feeling that permeates every aspect of my life. The photo of my dogs and garden encapsulates this perfectly. It's where my heart finds peace.

Sam Schulte: This a photo I took on top of Cascade mountain in the Adirondacks. Cascade is 1 of the 46 "Adirondack High Peaks", standing at 4,098 feet in elevation. I chose this picture because I am lucky enough to call the Adirondacks home. This is where and how I spent most of youth; outdoors, hiking, fishing, and boating in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Shaokun Wen: Although the environment is tough, I have my family-love and sunlight-hope there, that’s my home. I need to protect them, protect the environment, protect my home.

Tatiana Krišicová: Terchová is located in the national park Malá Fatra and it is a very known place in Slovakia. Terchová attracts many Slovaks, especially me. My grandma was born here and lived here many years. My heart is always full joy when I´m there. As a child, I spent every summer here. Terchová offers beautiful slovak nature and hundreds of kilometers of hiking, waterfalls, chains, ladders and beautiful scenery of untouched nature. You could also see 7.5 metre high statue of Jánošík (slovak hero). I have family roots here and therefore this is my homeland.

Blanca Aguilera Green: I was born in Mexico, but I did not grow up there. Going back, absorbing the culture, and experiencing some things for the first time, has filled a void I did not realize I had. "La sangre llama," is something I've heard my mom say many times growing up; it roughly translates to "the blood yearns for home." I remember rolling my eyes every single time, but now, I get it. I can't wait to start taking my children along for my adventures.

Diana Bošanská: This photo is taken at my favorite place in my home village. I am not originally from Voderady and this photo reminds me of home. In the photo, you can see my lovely partner in crime, my dog Benny, and the view on our complex of mountains called Tribeč with the small silhouette of ruins, Gymeš castle. My home can be described by a lot of hills, fields, groves, and tiny villages.

Dusan Forner: I spend my childhood in a village called Dolne Oresany. I now live in Trnava, but when I travel accross this village there are really nice memories.. I felt happy and safe here. This photo represent my home.
